The American Citizen: Foundation of the Nation

The American Citizens Platform

The Founding Fathers set up a Constitution to "secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and to our Posterity." That means US. Every American citizen. Citizenship must mean something again.

American citizens should expect that they will all think of each other first when they vote. We expect that Our Government put Our interests first when considering ANY policy. This very basic belief is at the core of our Party.

Education: The Inculcation of Citizenship

The primary purpose of an educational system is to inculcate a healthy balance of patriotism and skepticism in the young American citizen and soon-to-be-American citizen alike. We expect an educational system that teaches both the rights and responsibilities of Citizenship as the primary guarantee of liberty.

"The philosophy in the classroom of this generation is the philosophy of government in the next."
— Abraham Lincoln

The Responsibilities of the Citizen

Citizenship entails more than exclusive rights. It means responsibilities. American citizens have a responsibility to be hard working, responsible, selfless, & devoted to the nation and each other. The great mass of Americans who work, raise their families, pay their taxes, volunteer, vote and support their communities are the active cement which holds the nation together. Any political platform must see them as models to pattern ourselves around.
