The American Worker: Foundation of the American Economy

Real Wages Come First

The American worker is, and ought to be, the first, primary and last beneficiary of the wealth of America. Corporations and national policy should be directed not only towards profit generation, but a system whose profits see a steady increase in real wages. American Corporations have a responsibility to act first as Americans. The American Government has a responsibility first and foremost to serve the interests of American companies and American workers, creating a harmony of interests through effective policy.

The Responsibility to Work

American citizens have a responsibility to be productive, to work, to grow the American economy. Policy should be directed at driving unemployment to as low a level as possible. This means ensuring that all Americans, regardless of race, creed, sex, age, are afforded the opportunity to engage in productive work, to save, to vacation, and enjoy the meaning and benefits that come from gainful employment.

No One Is Greater Than the American Whole

"We must especially beware of that small group of selfish men who would clip the wings of the American eagle in order to feather their own nests."

So said President Franklin D. Roosevelt. American corporations & wealthy individuals have a responsibility to act as Americans FIRST. It is the responsibility of the American government to create policies that reward companies that put country and citizens first.
